ACTS: The Gospel Goes Out - Acts 1

In Acts 1, Jesus ascends to heaven, but not before giving His disciples a clear mission and the promise of real power—the Holy Spirit. In this message, Pastor Andrew slows us down to reflect on what it means to live Spirit-filled lives. We learn that the Holy Spirit is not an optional add-on to the Christian life but the very power we need to be witnesses, resist sin, and walk in bold obedience. Acts 1:8 reminds us that we are fragile jars of clay, yet filled with God’s dunamis power—power that can change lives and transform communities. Pastor Andrew unpacks what Scripture teaches about the indwelling, filling, and empowering work of the Spirit, showing us that there is more to the Christian life than simply being saved. God calls us to live Spirit-filled, Spirit-led lives—not for show or hype, but for mission, joy, and boldness.
