Who We Are
Seeking Jesus. Serving Others. Belonging Together.
Who We Are
Snover Heritage Church is a vibrant, Christ-centered community passionate about serving our neighbors and seeing lives transformed by the message of Jesus Christ. With a rich history in the Snover area, our church was formed when three local congregations came together to become one, uniting their hearts and resources to better serve God and our community.
Today, as a non-denominational church, our focus is simple: to help people know Jesus, grow in their faith, understand and apply Scripture, and serve our community as the hands and feet of Christ. Whether it’s through worship, Bible study, community outreach, or simply walking life together, we strive to be a place where everyone belongs, everyone is encouraged, and everyone has the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God.
At Snover Heritage, church is more than a building or a Sunday service—it’s a family. We celebrate God’s love, support one another through life’s highs and lows, and joyfully share the hope of Jesus with everyone we meet.
Our Mission
To make disciples who love Jesus deeply, follow Him fully, and share Him boldly.
What We Believe
1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word. It guides our faith and how we live (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
2. God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who are equal in power, glory, and majesty (Matthew 28:19).
3. Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, fully divine and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died to pay for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to the Father’s right hand, and will return in glory (John 1:1-3; Acts 1:11).
4. Salvation
We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works but is made possible by God’s mercy and love (Ephesians 2:8-9).
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, equipping us to live in obedience to God, grow in Christlike character, and share the Good News with others (Galatians 5:22-23; Acts 1:8).
6. The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who follow Him. The Church exists to worship God, grow in faith, serve one another, and share Jesus with the world (Ephesians 4:4-6; Matthew 28:18-20).
7. Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of all people: believers will live forever with God, and those who reject Him will experience separation from His presence (John 5:28-29).
8. Our Mission
We are committed to following Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations by teaching, living, and sharing His Good News (Matthew 28:19-20).
