Spreading the Good News: Promise Arrives

In Week 2 of our Christmas series, Spreading the Good News, we celebrate the moment the promise of salvation becomes reality in Promise Arrives.

This message walks through the birth of Jesus in Luke 2 and reminds us that God chose humility over hype, a manger over a palace, and ordinary people over the powerful to announce the greatest news the world has ever known. From the shepherds in the fields to the wise men from afar, we see that the arrival of Jesus brings joy, invites a response, and changes everything.

We are reminded that Christmas is more than a story we remember — it’s a truth we live. God didn’t just promise a Savior… He sent one. And because Jesus has come, hope is here, peace is available, and salvation is within reach.

This service also includes a meaningful time of communion as we reflect on how the promise that arrived in a manger would one day be fulfilled on the cross.

Whether you’re walking through joy, uncertainty, or simply need a fresh reminder of the hope of Christmas, this message will encourage your heart and point you back to the beauty of the gospel.
