First Impressions - Serve in greeting people as they enter our church, and serving as ushering for communion and special events

Children's Ministry - We're looking for individuals to serve on Sunday mornings in our children Ministry with leading and assisting in the class

Tech Team - Do you have knowledge of audio and video, or willing to learn? If so, our team can use more volunteers on Sunday mornings to assist in the sound booth.

Leadership Opportunities

Worship Leader

Position Overview:  

Snover Heritage Church is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to lead and coordinate our worship ministry. If you are ordained and feel called to a pastoral role, we would also be open to discussing the position as a Worship Pastor. The Worship Leader will work closely with the Senior Pastor to organize and schedule services, plan music, and lead worship in a way that is Christ-centered and biblically grounded. As part of fostering congregational engagement, the Worship Leader will occasionally lead a short message once or twice per year.  

Worship Style:  

We are looking for a blended worship style that incorporates both contemporary worship and the richness of traditional hymns. The goal is to create a Christ-centered, wholesome worship environment that encourages meaningful participation from our congregation. Musical styles we seek to reflect include Shane & Shane, CityAlight, Travis Cottrell, Keith & Kristyn Getty, and Sovereign Grace Music. All music must be biblically grounded and theologically sound.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Plan and lead weekly worship services.  
  • Recruit, mentor, and schedule the worship team.  
  • Lead regular rehearsals to prepare the team for services.  
  • Oversee and operate audio, visual, and technical aspects of worship.  
  • Collaborate with the Senior Pastor on service planning and special events.   
  • Ensure all worship is biblically sound and Christ-centered.  
  • Requirements:  

      • Personal walk with God and a strong faith.  
      • Musical gifts including vocal ability and instrumental proficiency (piano or guitar preferred).  
      • Experience leading worship in a church setting.  
      • Ability to recruit, lead, and encourage volunteers.  
      • Familiarity with audio/tech systems.  
      • Willingness to affirm and abide by the doctrine and beliefs of Snover Heritage Church. 

    Hours:  

    Approximately 15 hours per week.  


    Children's Ministry Director

    Position Overview:
    Snover Heritage Church is seeking a part-time Children’s Ministry Director to lead and grow our children’s ministry. This individual will provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. The Director will plan and oversee Sunday programs and special events while working closely with the Senior Pastor and other ministry leaders.

     Responsibilities:  

  • Plan and oversee weekly children’s ministry programs (nursery through elementary).  
  • Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for children’s programs.  
  • Ensure all safety and child protection procedures are followed.  
  • Communicate regularly with parents and church leadership.  
  • Coordinate special events such as Vacation Bible School, holiday programs, and outreach activities.  
  • Select or develop biblically sound curriculum aligned with church doctrine.  
  • Requirements:  

      • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to biblical truth.  
      • Experience working with or leading children’s programs (preferred).  
      • Strong organizational and communication skills.  
      • Ability to lead and encourage volunteers.  
      • Willingness to affirm and abide by the doctrine and beliefs of Snover Heritage Church. 

    Hours:  

    Approximately 10 hours per week, including Sunday morning services.
